Welcome

Welcome to my Electronic Portfolio. My name is Ian Paton I am a mature student and I have just graduated from a two year program in Information Technology at Nova Scotia Community College. I graduated n May 2011, and I look forward to putting my knowledge to great use with either the private or public sectors. I currently live in Halifax, Nova Scotia but I am willing to relocate or travel as required.

The first year of my program was a common year in my studies. Everyone enrolled in this program no matter what their final concentration was going to be took the same courses. Some examples of courses in the common year were Operational Systems (Windows), Operational Systems (Linux), Project Management, Web Design, Database, etc. My Second year concentration was in is Web Design.

My background prior to attending NSCC was in Technical Sales and Project Management. I feel my previous career skills and abilities will transfer well into my new career future.
